About KotPlace

KotPlace is first and foremost the story of a passionate owner… and a struggle.

My name is Amine , and for years I've been renting out student accommodation in Belgium.
Like many other landlords, I started on Facebook, posting my listings in groups where they quickly got lost, often buried under dozens of posts. Discussions with students were sometimes complicated, replies got lost, and it was difficult to find a conversation or know if a place was still available.

I wanted to try the "classic" platforms: real estate listing sites, specialized portals, etc. But I quickly realized that posting an ad was often expensive , complicated , and frankly tedious: an outdated interface, multiple forms, and virtually nonexistent customer service.
The worst part? The students told me the same thing: they weren't satisfied either! Too many outdated listings, few direct contacts, and sometimes incomprehensible fees…

One evening, after struggling to answer a dozen lost students in my Facebook inbox, I said to myself:
“We need to invent a simple, clear platform that truly reconnects students and landlords, without any hassle.”

KotPlace was born : a site designed first and foremost to facilitate exchanges, create trust, and allow each student and each landlord to save time... and smile!

On KotPlace, listings are easy to post, contact is direct, messaging is intuitive, and everyone knows where they stand. No hidden fees, no bots, just a real human community focused on student housing.

My goal? Whether you're a student looking for your very first student room, or a landlord wanting to rent with peace of mind, you'll find a space here where simplicity, trust, and mutual support are the true priorities.
I hope you find what you're looking for here, and I'm always available via the Contact for any questions or suggestions.

Welcome to KotPlace, the platform that changes the lives of students… and landlords!
